'Street Fighter' Just Took a Huge Step Back With Its Casting of Dan Hibiki

The new live-action Street Fighter movie, recently acquired by Paramount Pictures, has announced its official cast. It certainly features an interesting, yet idiosyncratic, lineup filled with actors, pop musicians, pro wrestlers, and even a UFC fighter in the form of Alexander Volkanovski. The new reboot also boasts some impressive choices, such as Andrew Koji as Ryu, an inspired piece of casting, and comedian Eric André as Don Sauvage, an unconventionally yet brilliant selection that will draw in an entirely new kind of audience to the franchise.
