Respawn's Star Wars Jedi series has found a welcome home with players, and protagonist Cal Kestis' journey of survival has been a compelling one. Actor Cameron Monaghan, who portrays Kestis in Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order and Survivor, says he'd be up for portraying the character in live-action. Still, the circumstances "would have to be right."
The question was posed to Monaghan, known for his TV roles in Shameless and Gotham, at a panel at FanExpo Vancouver 2024 (thanks, GameInformer), where he gave a surprisingly compelling answer. Most actors would jump at the chance to appear in a Star Wars film in any possible capacity, but for Monaghan to portray Kestis in live-action, he has some conditions that would need to be met:
