Unlike many other iconic franchise IPs where it’s hotly debated which original or adapted video game is the best, there hasn’t been any debate as to which Star Wars game is the best since 2003, when BioWare released Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Some Star Wars games have been fantastic, such as the Soulslike-inspired Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and the recent turn-based tactics game Star Wars Zero Company, though nothing could hope to compare to or compete with Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and that’s why the choice-driven, space-faring RPG’s upcoming remake is so highly anticipated.
