It's been a long road to get Star Trek back into theaters. The franchise hasn't hit the big screen since 2016's Star Trek Beyond continued (and seemingly ended) the Kelvin Universe of films that began with 2009's J.J. Abrams' Trek reboot. However, while it isn't Paramount's long-delayed new Trek blockbuster, the franchise will be hitting a theater near you this fall.
