Carrie Preston’s delightfully eccentric Elsbeth Tascioni is back — and this time, she’s crashing late night. CBS has released the first trailer for Elsbeth Season 3, teasing a star-packed lineup that includes Stephen Colbert, David Cross, Julia Fox, and more. The trailer kicks off with Elsbeth, in a hot-pink plaid suit Cher Horowitz would envy, snoozing in the office of Scotty Bristol (Colbert), the fictional host of Way Late with Scotty Bristol. Waking to find herself surrounded by Scotty and his head writer Laurel (Amy Sedaris), she apologizes with her signature quirk: “Sorry, I am jet lagged, which is why I seem a little loopy — although, some people think I always seem a little loopy.”
