Sony has officially announced that it is completely changing direction with the PlayStation after an era of failures. The PlayStation 5 may have proven a commercial success, but it still sits without nearly as many exclusives as its predecessors, nor the critical acclaim it garnered. This has been partially due to Sony's push for live service games that have then failed to materialize or flopped at launch and were later pulled.
