Based on the ending of the third Sonic film, Sonic the Hedgehog 4seems ready to show Sonic facing alongside Amy Rose against an army of Metal Sonics. Given how strong Sonic's metal doppelgangers seem to be, it is possible that Sonic will need a power upgrade in the next film.
