Something to read leading up to Halloween

The Last Apprentice series by Joseph Delaney is one of my all time favorite series that I’ve read. The books go by a different title in the UK, which is where the author is from. There was even a movie that came out in 2014 that is loosely based on the first book and stars Jeff Bridges, Ben Barnes, Alicia Vikander, Kit Harrington, Djimon Hounsou, Olivia Williams with Antje Traue and Julianne Moore. This is a good series to read for Halloween. It follows Tom Ward who becomes apprenticed to the local “Spook”. The spook is responsible for dealing with all things that “go bump in the night”. The series follows Tom Ward during his entire apprenticeship and all the adventures that ensue.
