’Snow White’ Falls Asleep at the Global Box Ahead of Final Milestone

If Disney could rub a magic lamp and wish for the year 2025 to begin again, it likely would. The studio will have learned its lessons by now, after having delivered to massive under-performers at the box office. But perhaps there was no saving Captain America: Brave New World and Snow Whiteat all. There was a reason why the two movies were delayed, and it would appear that the concern was warranted. Now firmly at the end of its theatrical run, Snow White is struggling to pass what will be its final global box office milestone. This, too, will be a largely ceremonial achievement, as it has no chance of becoming profitable theatrically.
