Skyblivion Mod Team Received Oblivion Remastered Keys As Gift From Bethesda

In light of the surprise release of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered yesterday, the future of the ambitious mod Skyblivion was uncertain. The mod aims to recreate the entirety of Oblivion within The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and has taken over 13 years of development by an evolving roster of volunteers. The official remake of Oblivion could potentially have put a wrench in the project, if Bethesda had decided that it didn't want the team working on the mod any more.
