Sirens

Meghann Fahy and Milly Alcock play sisters caught in a strange power dynamic in Sirens.

Based on the play Elemeno Pea by Molly Smith Metzler, the dark comedy series follows Devon as she intervenes in her sister Simone’s creepy relationship with her socialite boss.

The show’s supporting cast includes Glenn Howerton, Felix Solis, Kevin Bacon, Britne Oldford, Josh Segarra, and Julianne Moore as Simone’s boss Michaela.

A synopsis reads: “Devon thinks her sister Simone has a really creepy relationship with her new boss, the enigmatic socialite Michaela Kell. Michaela’s cult-ish life of luxury is like a drug to Simone, and Devon has decided it’s time for an intervention. But she has no idea what a formidable opponent Michaela will be.

“Told over the course of one explosive weekend at The Kells’ lavish beach estate, Sirens is an incisive, sexy, and darkly funny exploration of women, power, and class.”

All five episodes of the Netflix series were released on May 22, 2025.

Is Sirens season 2 happening?

Netflix has not announced anything regarding the future of Sirens. However, the show is billed as a limited series, so it was only designed to last one season.

That doesn’t mean a second season is out of the question though. Due to its popularity, the Netflix series Beef, which was originally billed as a limited series, was renewed for a second season, so it’s possible Sirens could receive the same treatment.

The future of Sirens, however, might depend on the availability of its all-star cast, with Alcock set to play the lead in upcoming DC film Supergirl: Woman Of Tomorrow.
