Singapore commissions two new submarines as Asia's undersea rivalry grows

Singapore has commissioned two new advanced submarines named Invincible and Impeccable. Ordered from Germany in 2013, these vessels enhance the country's naval capabilities with advanced technology that allows operation farther from shore using fewer sailors. They also feature air-independent propulsion systems and facilities for female crew members.
