Despite the overwhelmingly massive expectations leading up to the release of Hollow Knight: Silksong, it still managed to be a strong contender for Game of the Year already, while surpassing its predecessor in several ways. In addition to the excellent art direction, storyline, and the massive array of abilities to experiment with, there's one aspect of Silksong that easily outshines the rest.
