Talking about Sikandar's box office collection, the film did below average business upon its theatrical release. The film that was reportedly made on a budget of Rs 200 crore, somehow, managed to cross the mark of Rs 100 crore at the box office. It crossed the mark of Rs 180 crore with its worldwide business. However, Sikandar could not match up to the blockbuster hits that Salman Khan has delivered in the past. Rashmika Mandanna's charm too failed to bring in box office numbers for Sikandar. The movie received a mixed response from the audience upon its release. BollywoodLife gave three stars to Sikandar and credited it as a crowd pleaser for every Salman Khan fan. The review also mentioned that the story falls short of a strong narrative.
Post Sikandar, Salman Khan reportedly had Kick 2 in his kitty. He also has a film with Sooraj Barjatya in the pipeline.
