Shooting happened in special needs classroom at Oregon elementary school

The shooting unfolded in a special needs classroom, Bend-La Pine Schools Superintendent Steven Cook said at a news conference today. The gunman was a special needs student in that school in the past, he said. “There were students of different ages in the classroom at the time of the shooting,” Cook said.
