The time has come for Sherrone Moore to own up to his part of the deal. The HC will step back for Week 3 and Week 4, transferring the cap to another figure. After months of suspense about who Moore’s replacement will be, we finally have a name. However, Michigan’s self-imposed punishment is throwing the Wolverines into more uncertainty.
Sherrone Moore has named assistant HC Biff Poggi to take over for him for the next two weeks. Moore confirmed that he will still be the acting head coach until 12:01 am Saturday. But after that, the HC has yet to figure out a plan to see the game action. “Sherrone Moore says he has no idea how he will watch the game on Saturday,” insider Brice Marich reported.

He said he knows they will be fired up and ready to go vs. Central Michigan (no pun intended).

Poggi has very limited college football head coaching experience. But he has a commanding resume from high school football. Poggi was made second in command to Moore this season, but he also held the position from 2021 to 2022 under Harbaugh. How Michigan fares without the guidance of Moore should be interesting to see.
