The MCU is embracing horror in the new trailer for its upcoming undead animated miniseries, Marvel Zombies. Following the events of the What If...? Season 1 episode "What If... Zombies?!," this new TV-MA project sees more fan-favorite heroes and villains turned into flesh-eaters, leaving only a few survivors clinging onto any hope that's left in the world after the original Avengers have fallen to the horde. Even though the group has discovered the key to potentially saving everyone, actually using it will require a dangerous journey across the world where superpowered zombies await under the command of an Infinity Gauntlet-wielding Thanos. Compared to the more action-packed first footage, this new look leans into the desperate nature of the situation for the heroes, from Shang-Chi (Simu Liu) to Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh).
