On May 19, a YouTube video detailing Sha’Carri Richardson’s MET Gala 2025 experience, the pre-fittings in NYC part, surfaced on the internet. About 8 minutes into it is when the Paris Olympics 100m silver medalist, Richardson, stood ahead of a mirror while the team customised the dress she picked. And that’s when she saw her first look in it and said, “I’m loving this. It’s giving me soft. I told my boyfriend I’m in my soft, rich girl era.” The room burst into laughter the minute she completed the sentence. Well, thanks for that life update, Sha’Carri!

Sha’Carri Richardson even went on to praise the dress and how it looked on her, proving that she indeed is in soft girl era.
