Regal Cinemas has unveiled a popcorn bucket for Sense and Sensibility. The bucket features a literary-inspired design celebrating Jane Austen‘s classic novel. The bucket is available for purchase ahead of the film’s theatrical release.

The official X account for Focus Features’ Sense and Sensibility has given audiences a glimpse of the movie’s popcorn bucket. It is designed to resemble four books stacked together, with the top book’s cover serving as a lid. The top cover is engraved with the film’s title in gold, while Austen’s signature appears on the other side.

The book-inspired design gives the collectible the appearance of a classic volume. It will be available at participating Regal theaters. Moviegoers can also purchase the bucket early through Fandango’s I Require So Much Bundle for $44.99, which includes a movie ticket.

What is the new Sense and Sensibility movie about?

Focus Features‘ film is directed by Georgia Oakley and based on Jane Austen’s debut novel. The studio describes the film as “a charming, witty, and deeply relatable story of love and sisterhood.” It follows the Dashwood sisters and their mother after their father’s death forces them to leave their family estate.

The main cast includes Daisy Edgar-Jones as Elinor Dashwood, Esmé Creed-Miles as Marianne Dashwood, George MacKay as Edward Ferrars, Frank Dillane as John Willoughby, and Caitríona Balfe as Mrs. Dashwood. Other members of the ensemble are Fiona Shaw, James Carcaterra, Bodhi Rae Breathnach, Tom Brooke, and Stacy Martin.

The screenplay is written by Diana Reid, known for her novels Love & Virtue, Seeing Other People, and Signs of Damage. Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, India Flint, and Jo Wallett serve as producers. Bevan and Fellner previously produced Joe Wright’s 2005 adaptation of Austen’s Pride & Prejudice. Executive producers include Thea Paulett and Angela Moneke.

Sense and Sensibility will be released in theaters on October 16, 2026.
