See TGS Octopath Traveler 0 and Adventures of Elliot Trailers

Part of Square Enix’s initial 2025 Tokyo Game Show reveals involved two new trailer reveals looking at the games The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales and Octopath Traveler 0. The former of the two is the shorter one, as it is just under two minutes, but the latter is nearly three minutes.

In the case of The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales TGS 2025 trailer, it focuses on gameplay. We see Elliot the adventurer head out and fight with some of the seven weapons, then his partner Fae aid with fairy magic. The time travel mechanic is highlighted, and some of the newer footage showed bosses like the aquatic Lord of the Maw, robotic Greatsword Guardian, and a vehicle called The Rathomobile.

With the Octopath Traveler 0 TGS 2025 trailer, the focus is on the story. Our avatar is getting revenge against the people who destroyed their hometown of Wishvale, while also rebuilding it and getting divine ring to make a wish. It looks at Orsterra, which we’ll again explore as we invite people to Wishvale, then restore it by adding new homes, facilities, and decorations. In so doing, we’ll get shops, resources, and opportunities to grow as a warrior. In addition to hearing about the story, we get to see the Break and Boost battle system with eight active party members and town redevelopment. 

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales will appear on the  Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC in 2026, and a demo is already on the Switch 2. Octopath Traveler 0 will appear on the Switch, Switch 2, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on December 4, 2025. TGS 2025 runs September 25-28, 2025.
