Seattle Mariners Super Mario Day Is This Weekend

The Seattle Mariners home game against the Los Angeles Angels this weekend is the Super Mario Day event with a Nintendo giveaway. The game will take place at T-Mobile Park and start at 1:10pm PT on September 14, 2025. The first 15,000 ticket holders will get a free themed hat . Also, after the game is over kids under the age of 14 can head onto the field and run the bases.

Nintendo and the Mariners shared an official photo of the free baseball cap that will be given away, highlighting the Mario image on the front. Catcher Cal Raleigh is on the left, and outfielder Julio Rodriquez is on the right. 

Tickets are still available for the event. The lowest price ones right now seem to be $24.50, and the most expensive ones seem to be $92. The T-Mobile Pen will open at about 11:10am PT, and the other gates should be open by about 11:40am PT. Since the hats are limited, it’s probably best to get there as soon as possible to guarantee you get one.

As a reminder, 2025 is the first year in which the Nintendo patch appears on the Seattle Mariners’ jerseys. That started appearing on the players’ uniforms at the season opener game on March 27, 2025.
