Right now is a great time to be a fan of World War II projects, and not just because the legendary Tom Hanks has a few different things in the works to be excited about. Hanks has spent most of the year so far overseas filming the sequel to his beloved Apple TV WWII movie, Greyhound, which has quietly become one of the biggest streaming hits in the world in the last six years. Hanks can also be heard narrating the History Channel docuseries, World War II with Tom Hanks, where he takes viewers through some of the most important moments of the war, from D-Day to The Battle of the Bulge. Fans also found themselves resonating with Brendan Fraser’s new WWII movie with Andrew Scott, Pressure, which follows the 72 hours leading up to the D-Day invasion.
