Tiffani Thiessen has revealed the “hardest” rejection she once faced for a James Bond movie. The 52-year-old actress is known for her work in Saved by the Bell, White Collar, and more.

During an interaction with Tommy DiDario on his I’ve Never Said This Before podcast, Thiessen opened up about the most unforgettable and toughest rejection in her career. “I talked really publicly about one audition that I had that I went really far, and I was, you know, testing for the feature and I ultimately didn’t get it and was one of the hardest things.”

When the host asked the name of the movie the actress auditioned for, she replied, “James Bond.” Thiessen revealed how she was “very close to being a Bond girl.”

Expressing her disappointment, she added, “It was super hard because I also was a huge James Bond fan.”

Why did Tiffani Thiessen choose to keep going after a devastating rejection?

Despite getting rejected for James Bond, Tiffani Thiessen didn’t give up on her career and decided to keep going and find new opportunities. “I remember questioning my career after that. Like, do I keep going, and do I really want to do this? Can I handle rejection like that? I put everything into it.”

Thiessen saw it as a “teachable” moment to look forward and keep working on her craft. “You have to find the joy. Even in the hard parts, you have to find the joy. And that’s with anything. That’s with any career, really.”

Over the years, Thiessen has impressed with her roles in many projects. She was part of the acclaimed crime drama TV series White Collar for six seasons. She played Elizabeth Burke, the wife of FBI agent Peter Burke.

Next, Thiessen will appear in the supernatural drama Coven Academy. She will play Crescent Veil’s headmistress, Miss Graves. The ensemble cast of the TV show also features Malina Pauli Weissman, Malachi Barton, Louis Thresher, Ora Duplass, and Jordan Leftwich.

Other key cast members include Saylor McPherson, Everett Andres, Mia Parsonage, Harlequin Nott, Brian Bailey, Nyx Debogorski, and more.

Coven Academy will premiere on October 1, 2026, on Disney+.
