Sara Landry Announces Sophomore Album, ‘Divine Intervention,’ with New Single

**Hard techno it-girl Sara Landry will be dropping her second album, Divine Intervention, via her label, HEKATE Records.**

Greek mythology is having a moment this summer with the Odyssey and Hadestown in theaters, but now, Sara Landry is tapping in on the fun. The self-proclaimed high priestess of hard techno — a title traditionally associated with female religious leaders who served as intermediaries between mortals and the divine — just announced that her sophomore album, Divine Intervention, is coming out on October 16 via her artist imprint, HEKATE Records.

Named after the Greek goddess of magic and witchcraft, crossroads, and the night, HEKATE has long served as the home for the producer’s creative vision. This makes it a fitting home for an album steeped in divine imagery. Its title mirrors the darker, more hypnotic qualities of Landry’s sound, which immerses listeners in her sonic world and transforms the dancefloor into a ritual ground.

I’m beyond excited to be announcing my second album. My first album was the greatest joy of my life to create and this far surpasses that. Divine Intervention is a continuation of that feeling that we are all energetically linked — and that sound can’t be boxed into categories. This album is about bringing people together to dance — I’m trying to capture that moment where people lose themselves on the dancefloor and then give them that extra push to go deeper into their own universe. I can’t wait to share this with you all this fall.

Giving weight to the announcement, Landry also released “Angel Dust,” a collaboration with frequent HEKATE contributor Alex Farell. “Angel Dust” is the third single off her upcoming album, arriving just weeks after her July release, “Shake That,” and her track with Alt8, “Hands Up,” which dropped in June. Built off hypnotic grooves and thunderous percussion, “Angel Dust” is a high-octane track that embodies the alluring, otherworldly intensity that defines Landry’s sound and further sets the stage for the divine era ahead.
