Same Same But Different has solidified its space in the scene as one of the best independent festivals that electronic music lovers can attend. Hosted annually at Lake Perris in Southern California, the festival continues to evolve with each passing edition, and the experience their team has for attendees when it returns on September 25-27 is shaping up to be a true delight.

The initial wave of artists announced on the music side of the lineup already began to turn heads, with major acts like LSDREAM, Of The Trees, Tape B, and Gramatik set to perform. More recently, they’ve added even more to the mix, with notable names like Machinedrum, Truth, Lee Reynolds, and Vincent Antone announced during the second phase reveal. Other acts that are set to play the upcoming edition include Hypho, Slang Dogs, Cocoa Crescendo, Morph, Pocket Change, Little Wolf, and Brandon Feels, among others.

Paired with the latest update from Same Same But Different is word that Nakey Island, a private, boat-access-only escape at the festival produced in partnership with Almost Nakey, is slated to make its return. Once you land on the island, you’ll be met with hidden beaches, open-air dancefloors, and a separate world from the rest of the festival grounds, making it a slice of rave paradise.
