The late, great Sam Neillhad a plethora of iconic roles, most notably as Dr. Alan Grant in the Jurassic Parkfranchise. Neill's portrayal as the gruff, yet well-meaning Grant was a large part of what made the original Jurassic Park work, apart from the obvious presence of dinosaurs. However, Neill delivered one of his best performances in an Apple TV sci-fi series that took a unique approach to an alien invasion.
