Royal support plummets as polls show monarchy hits three-decade low

Backing for the British monarchy has plummeted to its lowest point in over three decades of Ipsos research, with just 55 per cent of the public now wanting the country to remain a monarchy. The dramatic 11 percentage point decline over the past three years represents a significant decline in support for the Crown.
