Big Play Slay is heading to the Steel City.
Former Eagles cornerback Darius Slay is signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Wednesday. The deal is worth $10 million over one year.
Slay, 34, was released by Philadelphia after its Super Bowl victory. The 34-year-old spent five seasons with the Eagles, recording nine interceptions and making three Pro Bowls.
He is a six-time Pro Bowler and a one-time first-team All-Pro.
Slay now joins a Steelers secondary that features one of the game’s best safeties in Minkah Fitzpatrick.
