The defending Super Bowl champs have added another piece to their talented core.
The Philadelphia Eagles are acquiring running back Tank Bigsby from the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for 2026 fifth-round and sixth-round picks, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Monday.
Bigsby was splitting the Jaguars’ primary rushing role amid Travis Etienne’s struggles last season, recording 766 yards and seven touchdowns in 2024.
Jacksonville drafted the third-year back in the third round of the 2023 draft, and there was speculation that he would take over the starting role this season. However, in the Jaguars’ first game on Sunday, Bigsby had only five carries for 12 yards compared to Etienne’s 16 carries for 143 yards.
Bigsby will join an Eagles backfield that includes superstar rusher Saquon Barkley and current backup Kenneth Gainwell.
