Star defensive lineman Calais Campbell is returning to the NFL for his 18th season in 2025.
Campbell, who will be 39 when next season starts, has reportedly agreed to a one-year, $5.5 million contract with the Arizona Cardinals, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The contract could be worth as much as $7.5 million.
Campbell spent the first nine years of his career in Arizona and has also played for the Jaguars, Ravens, Falcons and Dolphins. Last year with Miami, he started all 17 games and had five sacks, 12 QB hits and 52 combined tackles.
He is a six-time Pro Bowl lineman who was named a first-team all-pro and finished runner-up for defensive player of the year in 2017.
