Khushi Kapoor has remembered her late mother, legendary actress Sridevi, on her birth anniversary with a rare glimpse from her childhood. On the occasion, Khushi took to Instagram's story section to share a throwback picture featuring herself with her parents, Sridevi and Boney Kapoor.
The photograph captures a young Khushi standing between her parents, with both Sridevi and Boney holding her hands.
Earlier today, Priyanka Chopra Jonas also paid tribute to Sridevi and shared the first look of Empress: The Definitive Biography of Sridevi, the upcoming biography of the late actor written by Dhiraj U. Kumarr. Khushi reshared Priyanka's post on her Instagram Story.

Sridevi remains one of the most influential performers in Indian cinema, with a career spanning more than five decades and multiple languages. She began working as a child artist in South Indian cinema before becoming one of the biggest stars in Hindi cinema, with films such as Sadma, Mr India, Chandni, ChaalBaaz, Lamhe, Gumrah and Judaai among her best-known works. She was also widely regarded as Indian cinema's first female superstar.

After a long hiatus, Sridevi made a celebrated comeback with English Vinglish in 2012. Her final leading role came in Mom (2017). The actress died in Dubai on February 24, 2018. Her death was attributed to accidental drowning.
Even years after her death, Sridevi continues to remain a major part of conversations around Indian cinema. Her performances, screen presence and influence on generations of actors have ensured that her legacy continues to live on, while her daughters Khushi and Janhvi Kapoor have carried her presence into a new generation of Bollywood.

Talking of Khushi, she made her acting debut with The Archies. She was last seen in Nadaaniyan with Ibrahim Ali Khan.
