Ajay Devgn starrer Raid 2 has been roaring at the box office since its release on May 1, 2025. The film features Riteish Deshmukh in a negative role. Raid 2 is co-produced by T-Series and has earned Rs 2.50 crore on its day 16. The film is helmed by Raj Kumar Gupta and had a bumper opening at the box office. The film had an extended opening week and it managed to collect Rs 92.75 crore. In the second week, the film witnessed a low level with a collection of Rs 38.5 crore. Raid 2 earned Rs 95.75 crore in week 1 and it earned Rs 40.6 crore in week 2. Early estimates from Sacnilk suggest that the film earned Rs 3 crore on day 16. The total collection in India is around Rs 139.35 crore net.

On day 16, Ajay starrer added Rs 2.50 crore to its total collection and now the tally is around Rs 133.75 crore. Backed under the banner of Panorama Studios, Raid 2 has been collecting better than Raid. Raid which was released in 2018 earned a lifetime net business of Rs 98 crore. The sequel to Raj Kumar Gupta's directorial crossed the Rs 100 crore mark. But, will Raid 2 enter the Rs 150 crore club? On the work front, Ajay was last seen in Aaman Devgan and Rasha Thadani's debut film, Azaad. He played a lead role in Singham Again, released in November last year. Raid 2 has become the eighth highest grosser of his career and has surpassed Golmaal 3.

Talking about Akshay Kumar starrer Kesari Chapter 2 will cross the Rs 80 crore mark at the box office. As per Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 1.9 crore on day 16. The courtroom drama has earned a total of Rs 77.9 crore in the domestic market. As per reports, the overall Hindi occupancy of 28.60% on day 16. The film is inspired by the book The Case That Shook The Empire by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat. The story is about the tragic 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre and focuses on a legal battle fought by C Sankaran Nair against the British Raj. Apart from Akshay, the film stars R Madhavan, Ananya Panday, Regina Cassandra, Simon Paisley Day, and Alexx O'Nell in key roles. The film was released on April 18 and has been directed by Karan Singh Tyagi. The movie has been jointly produced by Dharma Productions, Leo Media Collective and Cape of Good Films.
