Quentin Tarantino's Next Big Project Is Officially 'Borat' Meets 'Pirates of the Caribbean'

2026 is setting up to be a big year for Quentin Tarantino, who last directed a feature all the way back in 2019 with Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood. Tarantino is returning to the world he first created later this year with The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, which is opening in IMAX in November before a global Netflix launch in December. Tarantino did not direct the film, but he did write the script — David Fincher stepped behind the camera to direct. Leonardo DiCaprio is not expected to reprise his role as Rick Dalton in the film, but Brad Pitt is taking center stage in the sequel/spin-off as Cliff Booth, the only character in his entire career to win him an Oscar for his performance. The film is one of the most anticipated of the entire year.
