Indie filmmaker Jamie Adams (Pose, Pink Wall) recently celebrated the world premiere of his latest drama, Only What We Carry, at the Tribeca Film Festival. The 92-minute feature stars Star Trek alums Simon Pegg and Sofia Boutella, who couldn’t pass up the writer-director’s unusual offer: a snappy six-day shoot and a 30-page script that was open to full collaboration on set. This unique set, filmed entirely in a chic coastal town in Normandy, also appealed to Academy Award-winning filmmaker Quentin Tarantino, who came out of retirement to work alongside this tight-knit troupe on screen rather than behind the camera. “I literally just ran around the room as if I'd scored a goal in the FA Cup Final,” Adams tells Collider’s Steve Weintraub.
