
On September 16, Electronic Arts and Full Circle released their highly anticipated game Skate (stylized skate.), the first entry in the popular skateboarding video game series in 15 years. However, unlike previous entries, this iteration is a live-service, free-to-play game. As such, that means there are microtransactions, all of which are cosmetics.
While most players will have to earn or pay for their looks in Skate, PS4 and PS5 players who subscribe to Sony’s online gaming service PS Plus will get some free goodies they’ll be able to skate around with as they shred across San Vansterdam.
How to get the free PS4, PS5 Skate DLC
First and foremost, any PS4 or PS5 players interested in getting the Skate PlayStation Plus Play Pack DLC will need to be subscribed to PS Plus at any tier. PS Plus Essential 1 month subscriptions are $9.99, and is the cheapest option for anyone wanting to take advantage of this offer, as well as other perks the subscription provides like its monthly free games.
In order to get the free Skate DLC, players simply have to go to the PS Store while using an account subscribed to PS Plus, and do the same process of purchasing an item on the store.
The free Skate DLC all pertains to the player’s actual skateboard. All of the items feature a pink and green colorway, with the board showcasing a crazy looking bear with its eye balls pushing out of its skull. Here is everything included in the free PS Plus Skate DLC:
