
Every month, Sony‘s video game subscription service PlayStation Plus adds games to its Game Catalog, a collection of new and old games for Extra and Premium PS Plus subscribers to play at no additional cost. The newest additions coming this month have been revealed.
What are the PS Plus May 2025 Game Catalog additions?
Announced on the PlayStation Blog, the PS Plus May 2025 Game Catalog includes nine games across several different genres. As always, PS Plus Premium subscribers get an extra classic PS2 game, bringing that total to 10 games. Here are all the new games coming to the service beginning on May 20:
Sand Land (PS4, PS5) Soul Hackers 2 (PS5) Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition (PS4, PS5) Battlefield V S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy (PS4, PS5) Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising (PS4, PS5) Humankind (PS4, PS5) Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life (PS5) Gloomhaven Mercenaries Edition (PS4, PS5) Battle Engine Aquila (PS4, PS5, only available for PS Plus Premium subscribers)There are a few noteworthy games in the PS Plus May 2025 Game Catalog list. Sand Land is a solid action RPG based on the Akira Toriyama manga of the same name. S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy are remasters of the beloved first-person shooters released between 2007 and 2009. Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is a great fighting game for both fighting game enthusiasts and newcomers.
Every PS Plus subscriber can currently enjoy the Essential games for this month. These include Ark: Survival Ascended for PS5, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun for PS5 and PS4, and the award-winning Balatro for PS5 and PS4. These games can be redeemed for no additional cost until June 2. At that point, a new set of games will be added to the service.
