Another PS Plus Extra, Premium September 2025 bonus game is rolling out right now in Japan/Asia where it’s Friday, September 26. Revealed during the September 2025 PlayStation State of Play, the critically lauded The Last of Us Part II is being added to the catalog. The game will make its way around the globe as the day rolls on.
What are the PS Plus Extra, Premium September 2025 games?
The Last of Us Part II’s inclusion in the PS Plus Game Catalog is part of TLOU Day, which takes place every year on September 26, and typically coincides with the release of new merch. For this year, beyond the PS Plus Game Catalog addition, a Youtooz TLOU collection drops on TLOU Day, which includes plushies of Joel, Ellie, and Shimmer.
Now that The Last of Us Part II is available through the PS Plus Game Catalog, that means Extra and Premium subscribers can play through Ellie and Joel’s story at no additional cost.
It should be noted that PS4 players will only have access to the original The Last of Us Part II game. PS5 players who are PS Plus Extra or Premium members will be able to play the remastered version of the game, which includes its roguelike No Return game mode.
