Prime Video's Reacher Replacement Falls At The First Hurdle

While Prime Video spent plenty of money on an all-star cast for its Reacher replacement, the series fell at the first hurdle when the mystery thriller show changed way too many details of its main character. Since Reacher’s 2022 debut, it has become increasingly apparent that the show’s formula isn’t as simple as it looks. After all, basically every cable network, traditional TV network, and streaming service has tried to emulate the sleeper hit’s success and, so far, none have yet come close to matching the Alan Ritchson vehicle’s popularity.
