TV videogame adaptations have flourished over the last few years, but bringing classic gaming titles to the small screen is no easy task. This is especially true when it comes to story-driven games. While adapting a narrative-light property like Sonic the Hedgehog, Mario, or Minecraft offers a blank storytelling canvas, that freedom is far from always available.
