Hur Said Biden Cooperated With The Investigation In Contrast To Donald Trump’s Lack Of Cooperation In His Stolen Documents Case. Hur Pointed Out Trump Withheld And Hid A Massive Amount Of Classified Documents At Mara-A-Lago. Hur’s Disappointment Over Not Being Able To Charge Biden With A Crime Caused Him To Unprofessionally Use His Report To Lable Biden As An “Elderly Man With A Poor Memory” Obviously To Please Trump.

“Critics have called Robert K. Hur’s descriptions of President Biden’s memory outside his purview. Others say his narrative was probably motivated by seeking to justify not charging Mr. Biden” (The New York Times, Hlenn Thrush, Feb.9, 2024). Hur’s decision to go beyond what the purpose of his report was proves that when given the chance, any Republican will choose to act with corruption and malice against their opponents. Hur’s findings found nothing to charge Biden with so he made damaging characterizations of Biden’s fitness for office. He used a common Trumpian political move: disparage your opponent to deflect attention away from your own wrongdoings.

GARLAND IS PANDERING TO REPUBLICANS AND THEY HATE HIM ANYWAY. HE SHOULD HAVE NEVER RELEASED THE UNPROFESSIONAL, PARTISAN ATTACKS ON PRESIDENT BIDEN BY HUR.

President Biden emphasized that not being charged by Special Counsel Hur was proof that his documents case was nothing like the stolen document case against Trump. Hur said Trump was hit with a slew of criminal charges, including counts of willful retention of national defense information, conspiracy to obstruct justice, and corruptly concealing a document or record (NBC News, Hernandez and Liebowitz, Feb. 8, 2024). In contrast, Hur said when Biden was made aware of the discovery of the documents in his garage, he alerted the authorities, turned the documents over to the Archives and the Department of Justice, and permitted the seizure of personal handwritten notebooks from his time as Vice President of the (NBC News, Feb. 8th, Hernandez and Liebowitz).

Both Biden and Trump are elderly. They both get names wrong and facts wrong during speeches. The majority of Americans from both parties would prefer to see younger candidates running for president. However, the kind of verbal errors Biden makes are also common among younger people. Getting a name wrong is less neurologically concerning than not knowing what day it is or what city you are in. The result of Hur’s attack on Biden’s memory and mental acuity has spurred Democrats to begin a campaign to track Trump’s lapses in memory, incoherent ramblings, and inaccurate use of facts. Additionally, members of the media will be adding the adjective “elderly” to the other regularly used Trump, descriptors, of “twice-impeached, four-time-indicted, liable for sexual abuse, business fraud.
President Biden’s accomplishments as President far exceeds what Trump accomplished during his time in office. By Election Day in 2024, it will be clear to the majority of Americans that Trump is mentally unfit to be president and that he is plotting with right-wing anarchists and Vladimir Putin to end democracies around the world, including America.
