Prescription for Sleep: Under a Scarlet Moon Now Available

Now available on all major streaming platforms, Prescription for Sleep: Under a Scarlet Moon brings with it soothing jazz renditions of six original compositions written by Scarlet Moon founder Jayson Napolitano.

As the 16th album in the Billboard-charting jazz series that kicked off in 2014, the series has seen tens of millions of streams.

Previous albums include three compilation volumes, along with seven more dedicated to Secret of Mana, UNDERTALE, Celeste, Shovel Knight, Wizard of Legend, Stardew Valley, Attack of Titan, and ActRaiser.

Scarlet Moon’s Jayson Napolitano refliects:

“I came to accept at an early age that I would only be a hobbyist musician.

I still write music every now and then, but understood my limitations early on. I thought it might be fun hearing some of my compositions re-imagined by Hibino-san, and we debated whether he’d do the Hollywood hybrid style he’s known for in games, or if we’d do a Prescription for Sleep album. 

We ultimately opted for the latter. Given its music people aren’t familiar with, I thought ‘free’ was the right price point. Can you spot all of the videogame and soundtrack references in my track titles?
