Police detention officer is cleared of stealing her neighbour's cat after telling court she took her for 'compassionate reasons'

Dawn Jowett, 61, admitted taking her nieghbour's cat Dora to her new address but claimed she had been looking after the animal herself for 18 months and was acting for compassionate reasons.
