After the release of the first Pokémon game,Pokémon Red and Green, The Pokémon Company launched the Pokémon Trading Card Game in Japan, and it wasn't until 1999 that it entered Western markets. 30 years later, the Pokémon TCG is still being played to this day, with new sets coming every few months. As the franchise celebrates its 30th year, it's no surprise that a set dedicated to celebrating the franchise's history will be released, and one of the cards in this collection will be paying homage to an iconic character.
