Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen were, unsurprisingly, massive successes when they launched on the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 earlier this year. As part of the ongoing Pokémon 30th anniversary celebrations, the two ports proved immensely popular, despite initial reservations from part of the fandom surrounding the ports' rather high price point. Of course, the success of these two titles has led fans to wonder when the likes of Ruby and Sapphire will be ported over, as now it feels like an inevitability rather than wishful thinking.
