Considering how rich and storied Batman’s villain tapestry is, it is always neat to see which iconic antagonist will be brought back from whatever hole they have been kept in to wreak havoc on Gotham City and be renewed in a new run or relaunch. That said, one immensely powerful and sophisticated character has transcended their traditional role as a mere ‘villain,’ and is presently riding a remarkable wave of popularity: Dr. Pamela Isley’s Poison Ivy.
