PlayStation 5 Gets Promising Adventure Game Set in Ni no Kuni Universe

A promising game, set in the Ni no Kuni universe, has been confirmed for PlayStation 5. The upcoming project comes from developer Netmarble Neo and publisher Netmarble.

It’s been announced that Bloomwalker, Netmarble’s next adventure title, will also launch for PS5, alongside Nintendo Switch 2, and Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Notably, the new game will be directly connected to LEVEL-5‘s long-running Ni no Kuni franchise, reports Gematsu.

What can players expect from Bloomwalker?

Bloomwalker will offer a relaxing, crafting gameplay experience. Its main story focuses on purifying a polluted world, alongside a moving house.

An official description for Bloomwalker reads, “Build and tend to your own pocket dimension beyond the door, and breathe new life into the fallen world of Luminoa alongside your artisan friends, the familiars, and the little spirits known as higgledies.”

Players will see themselves traveling to the now-polluted world of Luminoa along with their companion, a moving house. They will try to restore nature to its original, clean state.

They will go from sanctuary to sanctuary while stopping at resource-rich anchorages to explore the surrounding lands. What makes the experience immersive is the fact that players’ moving house will gradually keep growing and evolving with new functionalities as they go deeper in their journey of Luminoa.

Players will also explore a pocket dimension from their house’s door. There, they can build structures, arrange facilities, and decorate it in whatever way they want. This dimension can be expanded into a lively home of its own.

Additionally, they can also talk and connect with their artisan friends, each with stories of their own. With growing friendships, players can receive access to new formulas, facilities, and new crafting paths.

Players will also need to take care of their higgledies like beloved pets while giving them food and shelter. In return, they can receive vitality and resources.

Bloomwalker has yet to receive an official release date for PS5.
