Pierce Brosnan Channeled His Inner ‘James Bond’ To Save Black Adam Actor

Mo Amer recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where he recalled a memorable moment. The Palestinian-American comedian talked about his friendship with Black Adam co-star Pierce Brosnan. He also revealed an incident where Brosnan unlocked his “James Bond” mode.

Mo Amer reveals Pierce Brosnan’s hilarious James Bond incident

Mo Amer reveals a funny golf incident in which Pierce Brosnan turned into James Bond on Jimmy Kimmel’s show. “Well, I was in Black Adam years ago,” the stand-up comedian said while talking about his meeting with superheroes.

“I mean, The Rock is awesome, of course, but Pierce Brosnan is like he’s my 007,” he continued. Amer added that he and the Irish actor “became super cool” and “very close”. He continued, “We were playing golf together, and I was like, ‘What is happening right now?'”

The 45-year-old noted that he and Brosnan became really good friends and recalled the golf cart incident. “The golf cart started to break down, and then he gets out of the cart, and he’s like, ‘Don’t worry, Mo. Don’t worry, James Bond will save you,’ “Amer stated.

“And he started pushing the golf cart. I’m like, ‘What’s happening? Who are you?” he further explained. The host was surprised to hear the incident while the comedian quipped, “It was hillarious. It was 2 miles an hour uphill on this golf course outside of Atlanta.”

Amer continued showering praises on the James Bond icon. “Getting to know him was really spectacular. He’s such a wonderful guy, and I found out he was an amazing painter,” he said. Amer and Kimmel called Brosnan a serious painter, and Amer also recalled asking the actor for one of his works.

“Well, Mo, the thing is, recently, one of my paintings went up for sale, and it sold for $1.7 million,” Amer remembered Brosnan telling him. The comedian had responded, “I thought we were friends, man,” and he and Kimmel hilariously concluded that, due to the value, Amer was unable to get the painting.

Amer played the role of Karim in the Dwayne Johnson-starring Black Adam. Meanwhile, Brosnan portrayed Kent Nelson / Doctor Fate.
