A SNAKE has been shooed off course during the PGA Championship.
A tournament official was forced to step in after the creature was seen slithering around the green.

The snake made its way past a golf ball as it meandered through the course.
American player Shaun Micheel watched on as the snake interrupted him.
Live UK coverage captured the incredible images.
As the incident unfolded, ESPN commentators said: “We got some action going on here.
“Shaun Micheel’s not scared… that volunteer’s not scared at all.”
As the snake appeared to make a move towards the tournament official, the commentators continued: “Ooh that’s what we’ve got to avoid.
“Now we’ve got a problem, now’s riled up.
“Is he going right for the ball? Nope… he’s got his sights on something better than a white ball.”
Responding to the remarkable incident, a fan wrote on social media: “Very large snake wandering across the #USPGA fairway Everyone rightly treating it with respect.”
While a second admitted: “the course difficulty level just increased. my nerves would be shot. lol.”
A third joked: “Golf meets Animal Planet—forget birdies, we’ve got a snake in play.”
And another added: “What happens if the snake eats the ball?”
