Petit Planet Coziness Test Closed Beta Starts in November

At the end of September 2025, HoYoVerse confirmed we'd get a chance to test out its next game ahead of new announcements. Now the company shared an update on the Coziness Test for Petit Planet, confirming sign-ups are now live to take part in the Animal Crossing style life sim’s closed beta. People can apply for the chance to take part in the PC and iOS trial on the official site. If picked, they’ll get to take part starting on November 7, 2025. 

Signing up for the Petit Planet Coziness Test is quite easy, especially if you already have a HoYoVerse account ahead of the closed beta. You do need to be on a PC or own an iPad or iPhone to take part. Applying means logging in, providing your IP and device details, and sharing personal demographic details. HoYoVerse also noted that someone who takes part might be contacted for insight into the experience or “potential test invitations.”

There is also a brief YouTube Short teaser for this closed beta test. It doesn’t show off any gameplay or details about what to expect. However, it does introduce another one of the neighbors who can move to our planets and become our friend. Her name is Esassani, and she looks like a pink rabbit.

Petit Planet will come to the PC and mobile devices, and the Coziness Test closed beta sign-ups are open ahead of it starting on November 7, 2025. There’s no release window for the full game yet.
