On the other hand, Peter Jackson reflected at the Cannes Film Festival not too long ago on infamously replacing Ryan Gosling in his 2009 fantasy movie because the actor showed up on set, like Worthington, having gained weight without informing the production. Gosling was replaced by Mark Wahlberg, and he later told the story in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. "We had a different idea of how the character should look. I really believed he should be 210 pounds... I just showed up on set, and I had gotten it wrong. Then I was fat and unemployed," he said.
